Hill Day – Seagry – Sunday 11th July 2015

Steve Ellis News

Join us on our ‘Hill Day’ as we explore another area surrounding Malmesbury. Our route will take us from the stunning Goss Croft Hall in Seagry (http://www.gosscrofthall.co.uk), through fields and hills as we link up villages using the myriad of paths that criss-cross our great area. We will meet at Goss Croft Hall and aim to start at 9am with a finish time of around 2pm.

There are several pubs in the area if you wanted to take in lunch afterwards; otherwise, we will be stopping for our own snacks and refreshments throughout the journey. Please ensure you have sufficient water (min 2 litres) and snacks, also appropriate sun protection (sun cream, sun glasses, hat etc). You may wish to pack waterproofs (although please check the weather forecast in advance).

This walk is ideal if you are training for an event such as the Challenge Series (next event at Lydiard Park – 6 Sep 15), or our forthcoming trek to Morocco; equally, its a great opportunity to learn a bit more about our area and see places you often only see whilst travelling past in your vehicle.

This ‘Hill Day’ is free to Silver to package members (assuming you haven’t used your entitlement already); otherwise, it will be £18 for the 5-hours of our adventure.

To book your place, please contact Steve on nordic@geminioutdoor.com, 07752567959 or let me know at a session this week.
